The Charity's main objectives are

a. To advance education, particularly that of young people, in Greater London and the surrounding areas, through quality performing and creative arts training, and the provision of professional facilities and resources. 

b. To advance the arts, particularly for a diverse demographic of young people in Greater London and the surrounding areas, by providing accessibility to affordable training. 

We achieve our objectives by

- Fully funded and low-cost training provisions

- Ensuring graduates are empowered to lead purposeful lives, prepared for future pathways. 

- Promoting inclusivity, diversity, and personal growth within the arts. 

- Providing opportunities to develop transferrable skills. 

- Placing the well-being of young people at the heart of the organisation

Our Trustees

Katie McCutcheon : Managing Director / Trustee

Having worked at Bodens Performing Arts for twenty years. Originally employed as a teaching assistant, while continuing her own professional development in dance with the ISTD and RAD,  she became a key member of the dance faculty, until heading the department from 2012. Katie has prepared students for examinations, choreographed numerous shows, and has worked as both an assessor, and internal verifier. Now as a senior partner, she is responsible for operations management, including quality assurance, course structure and student experience.

Sacha Khari : Trustee

Recently appointed as the Head of Digital Commissioning for Channel Four.  Sacha was previously group director of video at UNILAD, overseeing strategy, development, production, and delivery of all original and commercial content globally, before moving over to LADbible Group as head of video. He was head of video at Bauer Media and commissioning director at The Beats. Khari has 17 years of digital experience in commissioning, executive producing and directing content, with over 1,000 long and short-form online video credits.

Jonathan Andrew Hume : Trustee

A British stage and screen actor and singer, born in Oxford. He is known for his work on Mary Poppins Returns (2018), 10,000 BC (2008), Amazing Grace (2006) and Pride (2007). On stage, he is most known for playing the lead role of 'Simba' in the musical, The Lion King, in both London's West End and in Singapore, playing Kevin J, Ali in the award winning Come from Away, and is currently performing in the Third Man.

Trustee Information

“A trustee owes duties of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and good faith to the beneficiaries of the trust. They must act exclusively in the best interests of the trust and be actively involved in any decisions.”


Charity Trustees are the people in overall control and management of a charity.  They may be called directors, management committee members or committee members, but the law considers them to be 'charity trustees'. They are responsible for the charity's governance and strategy, and  for making sure that the charity is administered effectively. They must account for its activities and outcomes
